Late post for Cosfest 2010

Went to Cosfest on the 1st day only, didn't had the luxury to go for the 2nd day too.

It was pretty cool, heard that on the 2nd day there were more things going on.

And so gonna get that Touhou illustration book during AFA, it was damn out of the world!

6 or was it 7 artist, 60 pages of illustrations and fully coloured, who won't get it man!!!

Singing contest was going on... some made my ears bleed... Some where just okay...

Man these people sure knows how to make on hell of a costume!

Okay I officially have a huge music crush on Gackt...

I know it's like I should have been a fan of him a long time ago, but hey I heard songs from him that I didn't like once, so didn't really bother about him for sometime...

Until that day, I listened to his song Kimi ni Aitakute, Last Song, Dear and many more, I totally fell in love in his songs.

Man is this cute or what!

Well CS5 is out and I have to say that its pretty good.

There are more functions, thus you will need to get use to it and there are some slight flaws as well. Nothing is prefect, just wished that the makers take more time to prefect the software to the max just like Windows XP.

Well this is still to my opinion, still a Adobe fan!

Thought my little kiddies today, really hope that they are learning something from me, and I'm so afraid to teach them the wrong thing, which I think I did for the side view neck. OMG...

Had a wonderful time teaching them though I freak out most of the time, have no idea how to teach people, would skip here and there and then come back.

Well love my kids and really hope that they will stay committed to the IG just like me and the rest of the committee/senior members.

So lazy to do anything now, full of homeworks, assignment, test up ahead and packing...

Well I'm really looking forward for year 2 to end, so that there will be no more IT stuff to learn.

I know that it would be way difficult and stressful in year 3 but at least it's not IT related...

Yes took some time out of my busy schedule to blog.

Thursday was the latest time I left the school, won't be surprise if I will leave the school later like 11pm plus in the future.

Had a crazy day with C208, definitely dislike that facilitator of mine but I still need to learn what I need to learn. Slap him is what I want to do.... ~~if I can~~

Went for IEP briefing after class... and the presenter was so irritating and a pain to the eye I must say... seriously I felt like vomiting at that point of time. I wonder whether I will be able to survive during my IEP days.

Went straight down for meeting after that. Teaching my little kids during the meeting did cheered me up. although there were few who turned up and my group had only 3 members, I think they benefited a little more because I had one to one coaching. Really hope that they brush up their skills and become good artists.

Not really a good teacher but still I hope that they would be able to pick up something from me in the end... it's hard to explain in words of what they need to do... I wasn't taught before so I can't exactly know how to teach.

After meeting some of us had to stay back as we were involved with a project that involves outsiders (those magazine companies), is that cool or what!? But it definitely drained me big time. Did a full page cover and now it is digitally lined by my friend (thanks Yuki).

I NEED A WACOM!!!!!

Going back to school tomorrow to colour it, really hope I speed things up (which I need) and get it done by Sunday morning. Time is not on our side this time, the pressure is building up.

Oh first time in my life I had dinner at 9.45pm, man I must say my stomach hurts >.<

Have not even started with my assignment! Damn I'm in deep shit. Will squeeze in time to do it soon, can't really think right now as I just finish my RJ, which was to redo the whole problem again -_-

Had piano lessons today and I was so sleepy, I think I played with my right brain... so didn't manage to play well and there were mistakes... have not been practicing too, for this week I had been reaching home so late, pack with RJs, meetings and lots more... On Tuesday I finally continued with my Grade 5 theory (need to take exams by this year) Had to start everything from stretch. Didn't touch theory for like a year already T_T

Having lessons at 8.15pm isn't a good idea at times, thank god this teacher was so patience and a very good educator.

Spent some time to surf pixiv.net and seriously we do need to give our respect to the Japanese.

Some are really good at what they do!

Feeling slightly better right now, thanks to my friends.

Guess that I'll feel down once in a while, its natural anyways.

Gave some thought about everything and realized that there are people who are actually looking up to me (not many) but there are still some of my closest friends who do.

I need to be there for them more, to share with them how to life with their life to the fullest.

Listening to some old Japanese songs, some of the male singers have this husky voice which is actually quite nice. Compared with David cook, they can't be as sexy as him of course! Haha...

There are so many new kids!
Quite an interesting bunch too!

Had seen some of their artworks (just a few) and some of them have really good potential.

Heard from Rayu that there are many good artist in the crowd too...

Hope that I'll get to see their artworks ^^ can get to learn from them by looking at their works.

Heard from Miku that there was this year 1 was so passionate about art that he showed it in his works and it was amazing... have not seen it though but it kind of reminded me about mine and since it was around midnight again...

Something came up in my head and I sketch it out =D

There was this guy who looked totally like a Chinese dude but he is a Malay!

I was pretty shock when I heard his name... for once a face deceive my eyes!

Tried to speak louder and I find it funny that once I got up, everyone was looking at my feet?!

Had to take my small group to a corner and play the visualizing game. It's quite boring for the year 1s but it was really fun when my batch tried it first hand... guess that everyone there are still very shy...

Went to support my friend this evening. It was some Chinese Orchestra performance. It was pretty good... the sound of the cello was beautiful...

Always wanted to play the cello too...

It wasn't a prefect performance but it did WOW me =D

Can tell that they had put in LOTS of hard work and practice and time into this performance.

Oh! and I can't wait to meet all of my new kids! okay that sounded wrong...

I think it's just me or something else but I feel that I kind of slack today.

I definitely finished my work today fast and didn't need to do any PowerPoint slides, just learn what I need to learn and understand for today and faci gave us a worksheet and we need to complete within 45mins. GOSH isn't it awesome or what!?!?

Well the slacking part not so... didn't had much games in my laptop and thus I was left to die at a corner due to boredom...

Kalafina Red Moon was out somewhere in March (Japan) I really hope that HMV sells it! I want to get a copy so badly >.<

How do we capture music and turn it into a picture?

This is what I have been wondering about...

We have so much great ideas in our heart and mind but sometimes, we don't really know how to express it.

I wonder what happens to me when I enter for a diploma in fine arts instead...

I think the school will definitely help me built up my skills and teach me need techniques of how to express myself and finally I'll be able to create my very own master piece.

Music plays a huge part in my life, can't imagine myself taking diploma in music, just don't really have that much talent. Not that I look down on myself by, I just know myself... I am not up to that standard even if I try as hard as I can.

Yuki Kajiura is one awesome musician >w<

Ever since I got to know her songs... I've been a fan and I just can't get enough with her songs.

Kalafina as well, okay Yuki Kajiura most of the times write the songs and all of the songs are beautiful.

So don't ever assume that I hated you from the start, and don't make me curse you, if I did, you are doomed. If you are really wondering what happens if I do, ask the people around me, the close ones especially, I've told them my stories.

2010 didn't turn out as well as I hoped it would be.

This is the most dramatic year...

Things happened and shit happened.

Well, that is why being independent is a skill in life, I'm glad that I can survive on my own, well not financially yet though.

Well not really use to doing the housework daily, kind of tiring too... not complaining but please to EVERYONE, DO NOT COMPARE!

I have my own shit to handle and you have yours and the things happened and the things that you have going through right now are different.

All I ask is your understanding... if you don't, too bad... I'm just gonna ignore you.

Planned to take dressmaking lessons and I did =D hope I learn this skill and place in good use in the future. Speaking of the future, year 2 would be a living hell for me...

Programming all the way... I'm planing to study up the basics now and probably learn even more when I get the new language.

Cursing and swearing aren't going to help or create miracles now so, hard work pays off and hopefully things will get better soon...

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR 2010!

It has been a very dramatic 2010 year, so far many upsetting stuffs happened.

But life goes now and the joyful events that happened will cover the unhappiness and heal the heart.

It has been 32 days since Grandma passed on and I'm sure she is leading a good life and would want all her children, grandchildren, and other relatives to lead a prosperous life ahead.

Another thing that happened on CNY's eve was my helper. Don't want to split out too much details here, I'm sure some of my friends should know what had happened. Let's just put it this way, I have no helper now and I need to help out with the chores.

Not my first time, well mum told me that why is it always during my holidays, I would need to become the maid... o.O

Guess its fate...

Well don't mind taking the initiative to clean the house or wash the clothes...
Its my back :( UT3 caused my back to hurt badly and this ain't helping me to recover...

Oh well, holidays are here, can finally do what I always want to do! =D

Dinner today filled my tummy with fortune.

Bro had to return to camp today so we had to have a traditional dinner (Don't know how to call this dinner, got to do with CNY, and it is not reunion dinner).

Went to watch the movie "The Blind Side"
It was a very touching movie that made my eyes teary...
But it was also a movie that made me appreciate with what I have now. Starting with the comfortable bed of mine, I thank my parents for everything that they have provided for me and done for me.

It is based on a real true life story.
Michael Oher, sounds familiar? He is the famous talented rugby player (the Tackle)...
After watching this movie, it made me feel like penning down my thoughts.
About how the world is turning to, how we people the fortunate (with homes or even a proper bed), youngsters these days are like now.

I had promised this to myself a long time ago...
To make as much money to provide a better life for my parents and to be able to help others as well. So rich that I can build a school or a hospital or something to help the not so fortunate ones on earth.

Way that a side for awhile, manage to start studying again for the coming UT3 (in 2 weeks time) o.O after I've gone through some crazy times just recently...
Really hope that I'll do much better than the previous semester... And just maybe get a GPA of 3.0 and above...

I'm at Thomson Plaza Starbucks and I'm relaxing for now... Just completed my part of the marketing competition. And I have to say that I've done a pretty good job with my part.
I'm getting a hang of marketing now and I hope to aces it. I am soon to be a year 2 student and I heard that my modules would programming all the way for year 2's. It would be hell for me... I think... hope it would be HTML and not Python... because if it is... I would probably not survive.

I believe that my team had done a terrific job for Marketing yesterday. The amount of research done was more than enough and we used SWOT as well and applied other important things as well. Improvements can still be made but I am proud of what my team did anyways. ^^

Had lots of fun during Comics IG meeting. Yuki guided me to draw Umineko Beatrice's evil laughter. And now I am done with my daft, just need to trace over the lines and add in details! Hope that I can get this done soon, planning to sell it as a print for SOY.
Theme of the month would be Steampunk! Awesome theme and I have so many ideas for it!

EOY was on the Saturday 26 Dec 09 and it was not as exciting at first.
Lost my sister's bangle because of the crowd and it was loose >.<
Sad...
Our booth was something like that...

I find it pretty cool because it is my first time taking part in such event.
I was sadden by the lost bangle (practically went everywhere and search for it) :(
So I sat down and stared drawing... to lighten me up... well it did ^^
Thought for a few seconds and decided to draw Sakura from Tsubasa Chronicles. Drew it before for my bookmark and since Yui Makino would be preforming later, mind as well draw it now.
When I place it to display together with the other prints to make our booth have more pictures/stuff on it, someone actually asked me whether it is for sale >.<
I am very bad in deciding, so I ask my fellow members should I sell and how much I should sell it for... in the end I sold it for $3 ^^
It was a great motivation for me... And now I feel like drawing more for events ^^ provided I have time...

Sales for our booth was actually pretty good, we had done better than we expected =D

Went out with my Mum, Sister, Brother and his girlfriend today ^^
It was nice meeting her for the third time and she's staying over night for today ^^
We headed to Centerpoint at around 11am and bought some clothes from Esprit (loyal fan) and later we headed to Robisons for more shopping at 12pm (opening hours)... my mum was so happy because there were more discounts, finally I manage to find shoes... and not only that this is the only year that I've found many shoes that I can fit in comfortably. In total I've bought about 4 shoes! Woot! It would probably last me for a few years, its hard to find shoes with my foot size and so does my sister.
Had to hurry get out of Orchard road by 1pm because of the road colsure. Feel sad for my mum because we only manage to looked at the shoes section... :( *pats mum*

Had to SRC and walked to Raffles City for more shopping ^^ and next to City mall and later to Marina Square.
I manage to find the dress that I wanted to buy from the Warehouse >.< it was in the sales section! Woot! Good bargin...
Have to say that this is the most expensive Christmas ever >.<>.< *Hugs*

When was this day again...? Right it was on Tuesday, went out with Yuki ^^
I had to do some last minute Christmas shopping, no I'm not a christain but I love to give things to people ^^ Had quite a good sum of budget, thus I was able to spend more generously.

Went to Ion Orchard and walked for about 4 to 5 hours (finally my back started to hurt after the continous 3 days of shopping, plus long hours of shopping)... Yuki was complaining... haha

Gotten the things that I wanted to get, so we made our way to Takashimaya to take a rest and got some things to munch on...

Had a so called "Overseas" 1 day trip in Singapore on Wednesday with Mummy and Arabelle.

Went to Ion Orchard to shop and shop ^^
Bell bought more stuff at first... I bought more stuff at the end of the day ^^
Well after shopping at Ion we went to 313 @ Somerset and next we took the MRT to city hall and made our way to esplanade for dinner at Thai Express.... It was really good >.<
I had Tom Yum Grass noodles ^^ Yummy! But was super full ^3^

At the esplanade there was this event for the 2010 Marina Bay Countdown... They will have thousands of Wished white balls thrown into the water...

Something like that... but there was more...
From far I thought something happen to the water, like there was some virus or something T_T
It was free to get a ball and designed it ^^

I'm really in high spirits today ^^

Met Susu at 8am to collect cookies from her ^^ it is my 2nd time to taste her baking ^^
Her cookies triggered my sweet tooth and I had sugar rush >.< Super hyper!

Anyways, I thought to myself that I should focus well for Math today and I really wanted to learn and understand Math well. And thanks for the guidence from some of my classmates I manage to pick up the knowledge, however I do need more practice. It was a productive day ^^

Comics IG meeting was fun in some ways today. Could say that it was a meeting unlike the past, we manage to discuss things well and I feel good that I am invlove in it as well. So I do really hope our project will run smoothely on the event itself.

UT2 is just next week, I need to start studying now... Lucky there will be two UTs next week only and the next 3 will be held after the holidays, I'll be more prepared for it.

L4D2 is so fun >.< although my graphics card screw things up and lagging... it is very awesome to relieve stress by head shooting zombies ^^

Stupid LEO was screwed up and so I sent through e-mail but apparently she didn't check >_>

Today's Math lesson was the longest lesson in my life...
Was practically half dead... didn't do any slides at all... but manage to learn something.

Went to Maksim Mrvica Concert Classique on Wednesday night.
His music is still in my head, still very fresh.
I always knew he was a great pianist but that night, the experience showed me that he was not only a great pianist but also a explorer.
Don't really know whether this makes any sense but...
Through his music, I felt his emotions his past experiences.
We all know that at his time he experienced World War II and what he saw and experienced was seen and felt through his music.
It was one awesome concert and I look forward to his next concerts.
If I have the money, I'll travel to go for his concerts but not only him but many other great pianist in the world.

Hall Of The Mouncain King and Ballade no.2 in b minor were great...
Not sure whether he played Alexander The Great but it is also one of my favourite piece.
For Ballade no.2 in b minor, it gave me goosebumps. The energy that was put into this piece can't be played as energetic as Maksim.
This piece of music was like the rain making fun of you. Drizzle at first and a amazing change to sudden thunder and lighting...

I didn't even felt like getting up from my sit when the concert ended... Ah his chemistry for the piano was just so strong.
Okay maybe its just because its my first time in a piano concert and that's why I'm so amazed by him but really, Maksim is truly an amazing talented Pianist, who went through many difficult and dangerous encounters.

How days really pass by so fast these days...
UT 1 is just next Tuesday and I've just started to study... problem 2 of cognitive only -_-
How ironic...

Super busy with so many things these days, manage to blog now is because I'm a little brain dead and have no feeling of doing anything right now, just to day dream and getting on the next day.
Doujin illustration has been killing me these pass few days, confirm I won't be able to colour anything on time, probably would be able to complete with the the line art within a few more days.
Lessons these days are brain juice draining... Math was a killer and I predict that it will only get harder for the next problems...

It's nice to be busy once in a while but this is just taxing... I need to juggle with so many things...
Piano is worst! had not been practicing at all, most of the time I get home late, dinner and need to complete my RJ.... it's late by then and continuing with my illustration.... o.O haiz...

Maybe it is all this that has been pulling my mood down these few days... well I'm not complaining, okay maybe I am a bit... I just need to let it out of my system.

Putting all this shit a side.... I doing my best to understand all my modules well this time, don't want to get shitty results like last semester...

Got back home today and saw a A4 size mail and to my surprise it was from ABRSM.
My Piano practical results!

Well I passed ^^ but it was like a just pass to me... can't expect much too, it's grade 5 after all.
As the grade gets higher it will be more difficult to pass with merit or even a distinction.

Congrats to my Sister for passing and scoring a little higher than I...

It will be difficult but I'm looking and trying to push myself further just to see what I have in me...
Working under pressure is not my cup of tea but it is the only way for me to move my butt and get things done and sometimes with much quality too.

I'm getting A's and B's for my daily grades... a good sign and I hope to keep it up. Marketing wasn't easy and the facilitator only gave out 2 or 3 As to my class, lucky I was one of them... I would need to keep it up... like I said before... since I'm stuck in this course, mind as well get it done soon and well.

Have been busy and very tired. Ramen dine out! But I just can't seem to find a time to have it with my previous W36K classmates.... gosh I did said we're going to have it this week but...

Thought of painting, well I had to as it is going to be for a friend. I think I would need days to complete it... hope that I would get it done soon... I have a couple of other stuffs waiting to get done.

At around 12.25pm I smelled my Dad's cologne smell from my room and it reminded me ask him what time we had to leave the house to RP TRCC.

Had to rush.... shower, changing and a quick 3 mins lunch....
Well Belle didn't come along with us this time... she had ballet, so it was bad timing...

It was Q-dees Aunnual Graduation Concert 2009! (World Tour) the theme
The children were all so cute while they dance, shake and all....
There was one group, dancing to the theme USA?
They were all very cute and and and!!!! there was this boy who was about at the height of my knee, fair and cubby >.< Looked so like a FISH BALL! I want to bring him home!!!!!

Had Math today and it also told me that this would be the module that I would go crazy and pull me down.
The rest of the modules are fun and I'm looking forward to it.
Yesterday's Web and New media was fun and I manage to speak a lot. I think our team did quite a good job and I'm proud of it...

Had an grade C for my first module... communication -_- what a start... But I understand, our team went off topic and we'll make up to it next week.

My mood was just lifted up by my grade A for problem solving ^^

Looking forward to Marketing tomorrow, I heard it's going to be about designing a hand phone and marketing it out...

It's the start of Semester two of year 1

And like last semester my team was the first to present -_-

It's like day one all over again... but I believe this time I'm more interactive (even though Clement doesn't think so), taking the inicactive to introduce myself first and stuff...
Got the help from Clement, he told me to try to start it of first. Someone has to talk anyways!

Clement asked me to follow him to find Ero queen (not her real name) and I saw Keshia!
Was happy to see her.... But she wasn't because she thought that Kaiwen was with me...
Let's just label Kaiwen as a SUPER friendly and Louder person~
Funny....

Met with Roxanne, Susu, Biyuan, Liqing, Kaiwen and Keshia for our second break (Lunch)
Nice to see them again and have funny conversations with them....

Spent some time with the Comics IG people.... Yuki asked me to stay longer till 5.45pm for Rayu but Clement wanted to go too so I followed and so did Fateen... Felt a little bad because I was the one who suggested to go to the library then to stay at the uncomfortable canteen...

Oh well, hope the day goes well tomorrow >.<

Visited my Brother with my Mum and Dad today.
It was nice seeing my brother again... he had been working hard...
Didn't talk much though... don't really know why but I wasn't unhappy at all, I was content.

Comics IG day out!
It's my first time joining them and I sure did had lots of fun!
Practically had fun from the start to the end ^^ We went for a singing session at Cash Studio (Some where Orchard)
Took some videos ^^

Went to Plaza Singapura for dinner and chilled out for a while longer...

Had a badminton session with Zyann ^^
I actually forgotten to bring the shuttlecocks -_- we played with thin air....
Headed to the nearest shop hoping that they have them on sale.... this little shop that was run by a nice old man... I tried to bargain but failed -_- oh well there goes my $5.50

I was hungry and very tired while playing.... didn't had much energy....
We played till 1.10pm and later dropped by the bank, Zyann wanted to check something out.
Hanged out at her house after that...
Her Mum said this to me " long time no see, how have you been?" in Chinese ^^
To come think about it... it is a long time since I've visited Zyann's house.... ^^ sweet old times...
Used Zyann's laptop while she cleaned up... Sometimes I love to use the Apply laptop... it gives me back O'level Art memories....

Had lunch at Thomson Plaza at 3.15pm!!!!!
FOOD!!!!!
Walked around after that, went to check the books for my grade 6 piano practical...
Had to check the price of it so that I could ask for my Mum to pass me the cash ^^

Went for comics IG today...
Left the house earlier, thought of going to school early to do some drawing...
Had been busy during the weekends and I didn't have the time to start my illustration... I mean a final piece... somehow no good ideas are up in my head yet... pretty indecisive...

Very few came today... most of them are probably tired or something...
Any had lunch at TRCC cafe...
They only have Nasi Lamak to serve... because they are catering for the event that's going in RP.
Anyways while heading back to the library we borrowed some board games and passed the piano area.. so I went to play it for awhile... Zhi Yan was trying out the guitar and so did I... it had strings!!!! haha it use to have like 3 strings only?
The piano was falling apart... the stand to place the books was broken...

Anyways headed back to the room after messing around...
We started to play the game "Life"
It was super fun!
I was the poorest at first... as my "life" went on... I had the highest pay of all!!!!
MUHAHA!!!!
And I didn't had kids at all.... President didn't had any too... but as I was close to the end of the game... suddenly I had two grandchildren o_O where on earth did they pop out from...
it's "Life" after all....

Headed to Causeway point for dinner (People as promised)
Was super full from lunch so I had dessert and so did everyone else ^^ except for Yi Ting...
He was the first person I saw eating his food that had dropped on the tray... o_O er...
Well had a good laugh with them all ^^

Took the bus with Zhi Yan and had another nice chat with her... ^^

Continued with my illustration after dinner...
Somehow I didn't had the mood to draw it at all... so while I drew the character "Beatrice" it turned out like shit! So it spoilt everything...
Now I have to start everything from stretch o_O

Putting that aside... I browse through a few of Clamp's artworks and had the inspiration to draw something to improve my side-view drawings...
And so I came out with this...

Went for my uncle's Wedding Dinner last night ^^
Had wonderful conversations with my cousins, condersidering that I don't usually talk that much...

Played with Isabelle and her toy penguin... Isabelle went around the table to get attention and everyone did gave it to her ^^
Wilson and Alvin seem to adore her a lot too...
Wilson a teacher? Well maybe I'll get use to that term after a few more months... Guess that working at a bank isn't that great than in the past... Anyways hope everything goes well for him and keep an eye for those secondary school girls... they might just fall for him... >.<
Supports for Alvin! The world in the music industry is huge and challenging... plus expensive...

Watched the movie "Fame" with my sister this late afternoon and it was awesome!

They re-aranged old music to something new, very good music production and composing as well... I'm thinking to buy the soundtrack now...

The messy part of the movie is that there are too many characters in the movie so it might be a little jumpy... but to me this movie carries a strong story about something about the world...

What one would do what it takes to be famous, to reach their dreams...
There are many talented be people around us...
If one does not know about the arts industry, let me tell you this " there are millions of talented people out there"
You see someone who plays the piano, someone who draws well... they are not the only talented ones... there are so many people who are just like them.

Take a local school for an example... I see just a handful of people who are good at something.
I'm one of the two people in my secondary class who knows how to play the piano but when you put me in a music school... piano class, everyone are the same...they too know how to play the piano... some are way better than I am, I'm just a beginner...
It is such a challenging world...

But what the story was trying to send a message was "Work hard and with perseverance, you'll achieve your dreams" and when things don't work out the way it seems... think of another solution, it is not the end of the world.

Link with what you are able to do with something else...
Say you're a dancer but you don't have the abilities of becoming a professional dancer... ever thought of becoming a teacher? You never know you might just become the world's god damn dance teacher...

In this movie it somehow had a link to me...
Those people, who believe that they are good at what they do, they push themselves to their very best, works hard and have the passion in them.
Some have parents who does not support them in what they do.
Some parents would start to support them only until they witness what their child could do with their own pair of eyes.
I too want to show what abilities I have, what I could do more than just these two hands.
I know that the day would come... soon, soon, soon...

Parents wants us to have a good life in the future, to be able to feed our own family and stuff, they want us to be business man, doctor, lawyer...
It's painful when they don't really support you in what you want to do...
The less chaos one's are they say they do but you know in their hearts they don't because they worry (don't believe in what you do)
I'll find my way though, like I said I'll never give up.

Never regret, because what I'm doing now is just another step of life...
It's a key to a door... and I'll do what it takes to open any amount of doors to get to what I want to see, to have behind that door. ^^

Okay my English might not be that good but I hope that there is some meaning to it.

I talked on the phone with Zyann like an hour plus? could have talked to her longer if we chat on Facebook and called each other instead... but gosh that's not the point.
It was very nice to talk to a dear friend once in awhile (when they are not near you)
It felt very warm and because she was my Babe (remember that term zyann >.<) secrets are never not opened among us... maybe a couple or two which is understandable but she knows me and I know her...
We were like thinking the same things... High Five to that Zyann...
Although bumping into you for a short time in J8 just know.... just know that how much I appreciate it even if it was just your presence.
So I am reminding you again to use those complementary tickets I gave you just now and use it by 30th September!!!! ^^

It's finally over! Piano examination for Grade 5 Practical is finally over.... woot~

Practice in the morning was poor... I could hear all my mistakes and scales wasn't great too...
At that moment I felt all tensed up... that could be one of the reason...
Another thing should be the bad air around me... my dad was smoking upstairs and gosh it choked my windpipes and throat...

Took a rest after that, facebook and stuff... watched a few youtube videos... mostly classcial ones.
Had to at least get an idea what Baroque period, Classical period, Romantic period and Modern period music are like...

Made lunch for my Dad, Sister and myself >.<

Okay here's my best detailed description on what had happened in the exam room...
It was super sound proof! It had two doors! Didn't expect that a small Art/Music school could do better than schools like RMC -_-''
The examiner was super nice ^^ in fact every piano examiner I had before are all nice.

I started with scales first, Major scales were good, screw up my D minor scale at first but had a second try... it went well...
2nd Minor scale was not great but passable, Chromatic scales was okay... and Arpeggios was slightly poor... gotten slightly nervous at that time because of the mistakes I made...
Told myself that everything would be alright... My last Eflat arpeggios went smoothly ^^

Next my pieces, Giga was acceptable ^^ I think I've shown what I had been practicing for months and I hope it was pleasant to the examiner's ears...
Shuman was better than what I've played 2 weeks ago... as for the pedal, I felt that it was clean all the way...
Lastly my Jazz piece, I believed that I had some bad timings at the same old spot... but it seems to be better when that part was played the second time...

Aural test was next...
The first singing part was like shit... okay not all that bad but I forgot the last few parts and my singing is the last thing on earth that you would wanna hear.... -_-
What was next? er... oh
The second singing test was the do, ray, mi, fa and so on....
The very first note was ray and I sang it as do -_-
I got to realize it only when I sang the third note...
It was just okay I guess.... The notes were all low... so it was a relief ^^
Clapping to the music was like my first singing test...
Lastly for the answering to the short piece that the examiner played was quite okay...
I'm not too sure whether my answers were correct but it was enough to get me a pass?

As for the last test, Sight-Seeing test, it was okay... I'm never fantastic in it but I manage to play all notes right with just a few mistakes but re-played it... and I think I manage to keep up with the crescendo and forte parts...
Overall, this examination is so much better than last year's one... Last year's grade was screwed up... BIG TIME... it was a rush... amazing my Aural test pulled my grades up... o_O the weird thing is that my aural test pulling up my grades...?

Went to Northpoint for awhile (Mum suggested)
I needed to get a dress for this Saturday, will be attending my uncle's wedding dinner...
Went to a few shops and tried on a few dresses...
The first dress had a very nice side view but the front was... er nvm
The second one was not really to my liking when it was on me.... but my mum and sis liked it.
The third was like hell... I looked like I was my mum's grandmother! 0_o
The fourth dress was pretty but it is like something I had never wear in my entire life...
It cute at the front and at the back it has bare-back low cutting.... and the material of the dress is fitting.... o_O
Totally something I wouldn't dare to wear a few years back...
Well there wasn't much of a choice though... my mum didn't want to buy it at first because it "skimpy to her" well not actually... because I'll be wearing a tube inside... I'm not that crazy...
The dress cost $39.95 only.... pretty good price ^^

Okay I'll make it short for today...
Watched the movie "Inglorious Bastards" (M18 rated) yesterday with my family except my sister.
Belle went to watch the movie "G-force" at 3.10pm in the end we came out of the threate at the same time...
Had lunch/dinner at Suki Sushi after some shopping around AMK Hub...
It was filling enough to make me sleepy.

So as for today, will be going for the last piano lesson before my piano exam.

Woke up at around 10.30am, pretty late for someone like me...
Would had done a million things if I woke up earlier...
But then again I slept very "early" I was playing sims2 ^^
Bought a house and renovate it, I widen the toilet and the bed-room too and I created a garage for the car ^^

After practicing Piano I had a pleasant father-daughter time ^^
It was for a short while but it was nice...

Continued to play with sims2 after lunch...
My sim was pregnant, she was hungry all the time...

I was invited to watch a movie...
And took some time to consider... it was a movie that I wanted to watch but it was a very last minute planning...

So I told myself that no one else would be watching with me if I miss this chance...
And so I met Liqing, Keshia and Biyuan at LOT 1 to catch the movie "The Ugly Truth".

The movie was pretty good... putting the language they use and some other stuffs aside o_o
Somehow I started to like Gerard Butler after watching the movie "P.S I Love You"
He is a good actor and he has a sense of humour...

Celebrated Char's 18th Birthday on the 15 September

Met Russell, Whye Keat, Jolene and Zhi Ying at Barddell and aboard the train where Jonathan was...
It was a very nice experience... travelling with them... it was like some Secondary School field trip... brings back memories... ^^

Helped Char to decorate the place that she booked....
All of us did... if was sort of fun but after some time all of us felt hungry...

Whye keat blew the first balloon and it burst... LOLs after just reminding him not to burst it...

Char finally came at around 6plus...

So we started to put up the balloons pack the door gifts and some other stuff...

Her friends from NAFA and RP and er... can't remember started to fill the room...

So I started to observe people again...

Wasn't feeling well after trying the drink Jon and WK bought.... they said it only contains 0.3% of beer? FYI I loathe beer...

Char's games were quite fun... but when I want to answer other people satched it.. but when the difficult questions came I just sat there... what am I suppose to do... answer it wrong and dance for 1 minute? o_O

While observing my environment... I saw an ugly truth about this world....

And it's very sad to say that the world changed, something that brings happiness, beauty and richness became ugly...

Just like drugs... a healthy beautiful body turned into a weak and old body...

Well I'm trying to draw an illustration on it... but it'll take some time...

CHAR you cake was AWESOME!!!!!
And it's making me very hungry just from the thought of it....

Practiced piano twice today...
I tried two exercise of the Sight reading test practices...
and it was like HELL! hell I tell you.....
Gosh...

While practicing the second time... my eyes were closing while I play....
Half asleep while practices.... this is not good....
But I guess that I did had sufficient amount of practice today.... fingers felt like muscles were growing stronger...

Played sims 2 after my dinner ^^

Celebrated Roxanne's Birthday in an advance today ^^

Meet Roxann, Susu and Biyuan at Somerset MRT station at 11am.
Headed down to Takashimaya for lunch, tooked some time to decide what we wanted to eat...
So we let Roxanne choose, since she was the Birthday girl...

In the end she decided to have lunch at Sushi Tei

Headed back home after that...

The three of them took the train and I walked back to Takashimaya to stop by the ladies and headed to the bus-stop behind the mall...

While walking I noticed many things around me... The people, the buildings, the cars and even the trees....

It gave me a feeling... don't really know how to explain it but it was like time stopped at that time for me and I managed to notice and obsevered everything around me....

It's not the first time... it happens to me all the time... but this time was very clear and there were many people around me....

Each people with their own stories to tell....

Different pictures came into my head... And I bet I could have complete at least 20 pages of drawings...

Saw a lady when I was on my way to the bus-stop... she looked mixed and to me, she looked like a natural beauty... Like... if I were a boy, she would be my ideal girl? something like that...

She kept her smile all the way...

I'm enjoying my newly bought CDs ^^ but I still miss the one that I didn't buy >.<

A day after another...
Time sure pass by real fast when you're busy...

Went back to school for another Comics IG meeting.
We're spending more time with Doujin then on lessons... well I do know the basics of Photo shop, layering and changing the opacity of the brush and so on.
I focus on drawing Umineko characters again... I wonder how my final illustration would be, taught of ending watch like designs or a huge bed of roses...
I think I'll need more time to think about, but hope it'll be soon because I would need the time to draw and stuff.

So I tried to draw Natsuhi? Can't memorize all of the characters names yet... Didn't even know who I was drawing at times....
Had a hard time drawing Natsuhi, because it was side view...
I was never good at it... real bad.... REAL BAD!!!!

Zhiyan advice me to look once and close the windows and draw in my own way...
It helped a lot but she still helped me to edit a little at the chin area...

Gosh I seriously need to practice hard... drawing side views are pretty...

Had lunch with Zhiyan... and had a wonder conversation ^^
It was a really nice conversation...
Never knew that her plans were the same as me and what she had experience was exactly the same as well...
It's like a reflection but only she's talented (to me and probably to many others as well)...

Oh well it's nice to have a friend like her ^^

It's Wednesday...
Met Susu and Biyuan at 11am at AMK Hub to catch a movie.
It's been a week? since we met up... nice to hang out with friends once in a while ^^

Went to watch G-force 3-D!
Highly recommend to everyone on this planet!

Went for a short morning jog and I'm starting to perspire faster then last time which is a good thing...
Made Breakfast for Bell and myself ^^ made my favourite wrap >.<
Bell had her ballet exam this morning too... I hope she does well ^^Go, go!

Headed to school after practicing my piano scales... I figure out that every time I practice my fingers will start to hurt and become weak at some time... weird...
Is it too much practice or too little practice? I guess it's too little...

Comics IG was sort of fun today...
Got to use the wacom, but I'm lousy at it... I could only scan pictures in first then draw...
Ume was really good and Ramdhan? ya he was like Wow!
Super professional for a beginner! **Bow down...

I switch back to my pencil and sketch book when my hands felt pain and my eyes sore from all of that computer staring.... (I was using the wacom to draw, it was unsuccessful)
So I'm working together with Fateen on Umineko no naku koro ni ^^
I really hope it goes well....

So I tried to practice drawing the characthers first but with my own style...

It was a crazy drawing session last night together with the other members and my seniors from Comics IG...
Fun but crazy... and.. some drawings were just too distrubing...

It's a beautiful Saturday morning... probably for now so I hope that things would work out for me later...
I was going through my hotmail inbox two days ago and read a particular e-mail sent from one of my senior...
So I thought of sharing it in here... its a chain mail but its really something to read and think about.

This is a true story that happened in Japan ..
In order to renovate the house, someone in Japan breaks open the wall.
Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.
When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.
He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail,it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was first built..
What happened?
The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years!
In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible and mind-boggling.
Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 10 years!!! Without moving a single step--since its foot was nailed!
So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating.
Later, not knowing from where it came appears another lizard, with food in its mouth.
Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply.

That was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 10 years...
Imagine? it has been doing that untiringly for 10 long years, without giving up hope on its partner.

It's a Friday! also the 2nd week of the holidays ( I guess)
Had Comics IG yesterday at 12.30pm. Before that I went to Woodlands Library to return a book and to look at more art books... It's very nice to look at art books as it gives you inspirations. It would be very nice if I could go to those art museum too...
IG was pretty fun, although I didn't talk much this time...
We're going to participate this year's EOY and it's going to be our first doujin project!
Lots of work would be needed... First of all I would need to do a lot of research and homework...
I have no idea what was umineko at first... thanks to Zhi Yan I at least know a little more...
I'm one of the Illustrator so I would need lots of practice first...
And I hope it would turn out to be a successful one for all!

Went to collect my contact lens after IG....
Had to do a few rounds of putting in the lens and taking it out again... The store owner told me I was pretty fast... compared to some other customers... I wonder how long will my Sister would take if she goes to collect hers...
Wearing it was uncomfortable still but I guess I'll get use to it soon...
I had the habit of pushing up my glasses... and so I wore to contacts and still had the habit... people might think I'm crazy... haha

Oh well finally built my house at Sims 2 ^^ (From stretch)
Took a lot of snapshots but I found only one in the folder o_O sad...
But this was one area of the house >.<

Went to walk around my estate again this morning... and Jogged too ^^
Jogged for a few rounds only... I'll need to slowly built back my stamina...

Feel great comfort after the jog... as if all my backaches are all gone...
I'm gonna be fit as a fiddle again! >.< haha (but will still never catch up with my Bro) While I was blogging (yes, now) I saw my gift from Zyann... she came at 10pm plus on 12'Aug'09 to pass it to me... As promised (Zyann) here are the pictures of the lovely album...

Woke up at 7am and went for my early walks (only during my holidays)
It rained contiously yesterday, so this mornings' whether was fantastic >.<>

The sky was lovely...

Read the papers before having breakfast (New Moon Opens on the 4 Dec) >.<

After breakfast watched TV for 15mins and went to practice my piano pieces. After 45 mins I thought of trying to play "River flows in you" my newly printed scores. I think I'll practice more on it after my exam... I hope to play it well soon ^^Loved that song...

Its' not that easy nor it is difficult... Most of the bars are repeated but I did had a hard time with the counting... never was good in that anyways...

Met Biyuan at Yishun MRT station at about 11am and too the train to Clarke Quay to meet Keshia and Susu. The train o_O hmm...

When we reached the Central, we started to scearh for the Ramen resturant! Ramen, ramen >.<

It was delicious, the noodles tasted like wanton noodles but it was tasty and chewy ^^

The Gyoza Susu and I ordered... there was too much vinegar for me but Susu loved it...

Walked around the mall, bought a pack of sweets from "sticky" Cola Pillows flavor...

Influence by Keshia (she bought 3 packs) and after trying one piece...

After walking around we decided head down to either Raffles city or City hall... so we went to wait for the Shuttle bus ^^

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!

Thank You Teachers for the knowledge and wisdom that you shared with me, thank you for making my learning possible throughout the years...

~31st August~
Went back to Peirce in the morning and I was the 4th senior visiting the school. Reached the front gate at around 9.35am >.< My mum drove me there because she was going to Thomson Plaza which I have to meet her there ASAP...
4 guys and 1 girl (me) we walking around the campus of Peirce Secondary... and hanged around the canteen, killing time before we go up to the hall to watch the teacher's day performance.
Jon said to go up 15mins later then 10.30(the actually time to start) because Mr Ong would need to settle down the students in the hall... like always... (very true)
We were there for 5 years (4 years for me) and we know all this things well ^^
Saw the stairs to the IT control room which brought back many wonderful memories back...
Zyann was who I thought of first when I was that stairs...
One of the bands performed "Crush, crush, crush" by Paramore... and I absolutely disliked it.
I'm not being harsh but, it was a poor performance, tumbs up for the courage to perform, but the singer was trying too hard to be like Hayley...

Left and meet my mum at 11am? She asked me to look at a dress that she eyed on (plus tried)...
It was a purple gown with jewels on the top, pretty nice and it did suit her... so I said go a head and get it... The dress cost $400 plus but had a discount till $200 plus and it is still expensive, the amazing thing is that my mum doesn't really buy a nexpensive dress... guess that the shopkeepers really know how to do their business well...
Went to BATA and brought a pair of heels for the dinner. So did my mum... Went to for lunch at Kopitaim and I had pepper lunch >.< (it has been months since I ate it) my sister joined us for lunch too... and she had pepper lunch as well and it was her first time (she forgot to add the honey sauce) which is the most important sauce...
To enhance the favour and not making the food too dry...
Belle didn't really had a dress... so we went to hunt her dress fast (mum had an appointment at 2pm) So she tried 3 dresses and finally bought the purple dress, I tried that dress first but didn't like it) but it looked fine on her... so ya...
Wasn't planning to get a dress anyways (I have two at home already) and I didn't want to spend money... To me, I think that we spent too much this month... so I'll need to cut down.
I'll wait for my pay...

Both Belle and I started to get ready at 3.15pm... took turns to shower and I helped her to strighten her hair... (she said I was a poor hair-dresser) o_O no I wasn't... blame her hair... it was super thick! and short... it turned out fine in the end anyways... did mine myself...

Later I helped Belle with her makeup on the eyes... (she likes to enhance her eyes.. to make it more defined >_>) I asked her to help me to put eyeliner and my left eye turned out like a panda's eye 0_O haha had to remove it and do it again...
While we were getting ready... she was busy taking photos of HERself... and somehow I'm involved as well...

Its nice pictures to keep but wait till I pack my stuffs up first... the toilet's table was so messy...

Practiced Piano before we left the house at 5.50pm. Was waiting for Auntie Irene ^^
My dad looked cute... or should I say dashing.. never mind I'll just stick with cute... like a panda!

The Jewel box looked beautiful... the decorations were luxurious...
The toilet was like heaven! It looked like a million dollar toilet! The views that we could see and gosh it was just so exquisite...
I think Belle and I spent about 30 mins in the toilet taking photos... >.< haha
Its something you can't resist...

Didn't had the time to sit on the cable car :( will go another time... but by 13 September

The Buffet dinner was delious >.<

The cheese cake was very nice and soft... Dad had a special plate for himself because there weren't anymore left...

Belle had to sing the missing lyrics, the song was from High School musical...

The next game was a puzzle game... had to find our missing piece from another table... we were fast in guessing who the person was in the picture (Paris Hilton in a Germen Magazine) but we were slow in finding out where our missing picture went too...
Had a few more games...

We had to stand and do some "execrise" because the MC said that its not good to remain seated down after dinner...

So we had to dance! I was wearing heels! never in my life I danced in heels!

Oh and not forgetting some of the teachers performed... and there was this group who dance the Wonder girls song "Nobody" ! Gosh... (Flash back)

Everyone definately had a slpendid time from what I persume...

I was one of the judges >.< for judging who will be the next Miss Q-dees for 2009

Oh well I think that's about it... ^^

Was late for our Badminton Session today!
Was practicing on the piano and I forgot all about the time o_O
Biyuan and Susu started playing first, I was rushing like mad... walked as fast as I could.
It was like as if there is no tomorrow...
Haha anyways, I did enjoyed playing badminton with them... Susu was so funny.... gosh...
Was so hungry too...

Showered at school... and the water was so cold! Where's the warm water? There should have... the tap labled the hot and cold side, so I turned the tap to the left (hot side) and it came out super cold water... -_-
I used the Handicap shower cubical ^^ haha more space mah... >.<

Headed to Icon Orchard later on... Was finding for Ramen!

It was lovely at first...

But after a few rounds... I mean after the second round, I felt so full...

Didn't know that ice-cream can be a torture...

Programming UT was the last of all the UT3 modules.
And Semester 1 is over!
The sad part is that everyone would be changing class. Won't be sticking to the same class with the same classmates :(
We so need to meet up once in awhile!
I will definitely miss W36K!

Went to IKEA to chill out.
Kaiwen, Liqing, Biyuan, Susu, Keshia and I went together ^^
Susu, Keshia and I ordered the most food! Haha ate too much le... actually it was the meatballs...
Its nice but when you eat too much, you'll feel a little uncomfortable in the stomach and the throat.
Oh well, walked around IKEA for a while, explored what they had to offer.
We went crazy with the kids section first and I dragged out a turtle out of a tent... and it was snatched away by a little boy :( (I saw it first....)
Later on we explored the bedrooms, toilets, study areas and even the kitchens, Susu and I was playing "cooking" er what do you call that again... Masa masa?

Anyway... I had much fun! Took a few pictures too!
